A year has passed since I began my journey into
Resveratrol, Anti-Aging, and an overall healthier lifestyle. My life has changed in so many ways over the past year. I've lost weight, lost body fat, changed my diet, re-introduced myself to supplements & vitamins, and
most importantly became a father.
I talked about making these changes for years, always thinking, "I would get to it." The reality is I never got to it until "I GOT TO IT!"
It was easy to "talk the talk" because it was an excuse I convinced myself was sufficient. I was wrong, it was a terrible excuse! So when I actually started making the changes I was proud of myself and started feeling good almost immediately.
My resveratrol experience isn't just about taking resveratrol, it is about change, and the resveratrol was just part of it. It was an outlet for me to express myself and share with others what I had learned.
It was, and still remains, my own personal therapy.
I hope you have enjoyed reading the articles and experiences I write about. I hope you can relate to the information and mental thoughts I talk about. I hope I have encouraged, inspired, and helped you get healthy. I hope you continue to support this site and join in on the discussions.
Thank You for your support, Thank You for the friendships we've made, and Thank You for helping me get healthy!
Thanks Markus, Yes I enjoy your posts and the information... they make a difference. Cheers

Which brand of Resveratrol should I use? I do not believe in these Free Trial claims....as I have been ripped off before with these free trials!!! I would just like to know of a place I can go (i.e. vitamin world, GNC) and pick up my own bottle when I want it. Im not sure which to use...can you help?

Hi Jeanine,
I also don't believe in "Free Trials" as nothing good is ever truly free. I am not sure what products those stores stock as I am happy purchasing products on the internet after some research. Here is a link to a page I wrote about the product I use:
http://www.myresveratrolexperience.com/micronized-resveratrol-supplement.html
The company provides independent certificates of analysis for each batch of their resveratrol, they have great customer service, and they are always looking to improve. However, they are not free. It costs money to manufacture resveratrol and the higher the quality the more it will cost.

I have been taking Swanson Ultra 5 mg Reservatrol capsules for about a month, and have experienced diarrhea and lack of bowel control! I have had to discontinue using this product since my body evidently cannot tolerate Resveratrol!

I am not familiar with the Swanson product but 5mg of resveratrol is a very small amount. It is possible the resveratrol is not causing the diarrhea and it is actually what ever else is mixed in with the product. Lower quality resveratrol has been known to have higher emodin content then more pure forms. Emodin can cause irritable bowel. Please refer to this article for more information on stomach problems:
